Family, friends, fans and activists are mourning the loss of Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch. Yauch passed away today after a several year battle with cancer. He is remembered both as a hip hop pioneer and as a preeminent activist for the Tibetan liberation movement. Youch, aka “MCA”, was propelled to hip hop stardom in 1984 with the release of the Beastie Boys hit record, License To Ill. Social Issues – With the cost of health care reaching exorbitant levels these days, one cancer patient is turning to art to help his family pay his medical bills. That little boy, three-year-old Liam Myrick, has taken to painting as a form of mental and physical therapy. Recent studies published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine reported that men who took part in coitus with animals were twice as likely to develop penile cancer than those who stick to their own species.
