Game On, Iran!
Human Rights – One of Iran’s top nuclear scientists was killed in a Hollywood-style assassination plot on Wednesday, after a motorcycle driver sped up to his car and attached a magnetic bomb to it…KABOOM!
According to Iranian Media, “the blast killed Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a chemistry expert and a director of the Natanz uranium enrichment facility, the centerpiece of Iran’s expanding program to make nuclear fuel.”
Naturally, Iran is pretty upset about the hit, which the AP noted to be “at least the fourth targeted hit against a member of Iran’s nuclear brain trust in two years.”
While U.S. officials are denying any involvement in the incident (wink wink), there’s not much doubt amongst Iranians that the trio of nations including the U.S., U.K. and Israel, were the ones to pull the proverbial trigger.
The day before the attack, Israeli military chief Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz told a parliamentary panel that this would be a “critical year” for Iran, because of “things that happen to it unnaturally.”
One can only deduce from his statement that Israel has some pretty solid plans to turn Tehran into another Munich.
