Carlin’s Ghost

George Carlin had a knack for commenting on contemporary political issues in the U.S. and he often satirized the excesses of American Culture.

Carlin claimed that the overall theme of his stand-up routines was based on “humanity’s bullshit,” and often included commentary on aspects of human civilization, including corruption, greed, and war.

Which is why we were able to find a clip from his stand-up special “This Life is Worth Losing,” which is quite apropos to the current Occupy movement.

Carlin slams the big corporations and business interests, which, he says, have Americans “by the balls,” and moves on to say that the people who run this country want nothing more than “obedient workers” and now they want our social security and retirement money.

Sound familiar? Ya…we thought so too.

Enjoy!

“There’s a pulse in New York, even on the quietest street, on the quietest day. It’s full of potential.” – George Carlin.

BTW: There are a few of the “seven deadly words” in here. So be warned. Foul language abounds.
