Ad Targets First Time Voters

Just Weird – A new Russian political campaign advert is targeting virgins (sort-of) in hopes of drumming up votes for Vladimir Putin.

The video shows a young Russian female, who tells a fortune teller that she wants her first time to be for love. At the flip of a card, Putin is revealed and the young female is informed that her first will be Putin and that she will be happy with him.

Of course, this is all just a play on words and the advert is simply targeting first time voters (ie virgins) with its “Putin. First time only for love” campaign.

Still, it’s either genius or tacky. You decide.
