Cheryl Cole: Lipstick For Charity

Celebrity Charities – Cheryl Cole, a member of the British pop group Girls Aloud, is making lipstick not only fashionable, but also charitable.

The singer just released a new shade of lipstick through L’Oreal Paris; the catch is that money from each sale will be donated to The Cheryl Cole Foundation. The limited edition Color Riche lipstick, which is described as “a rich berry, blue red shade,” is named “Red Passion” (Shade no. 297).

“I love wearing lipstick as it is makes me feel glamorous whatever the occasion,” said Cole. “I am so thrilled the funds raised from my L’Oréal Paris lipstick can make a difference to people’s lives through my foundation with The Prince’s Trust.”

Cole’s organization, The Cheryl Cole Foundation, supports another of Britain’s most important youth charities, The Prince’s Trust. In turn, that charity aims to provide practical and financial support to children and young adults with education, unemployment, and legal issues. Cole’s foundation will localize their work with The Prince’s Trust to communities in northeast England.

L’Oreal Paris began working with The Prince’s Trust in 2011 and has worked specifically to give disadvantaged youth work opportunities in the beauty industry.
