Animal Issues – It is estimated that 3-4 million cats and dogs are euthanized each year because shelters simply lack the funding and resources to care for the animals. One company is working towards saving as many of them as it can by donating money from its sales to shelters throughout the U.S.

Jusani Culture, which creates organic tees and accessories for owners and pets, picks a deserving shelter every quarter to receive the funds from the sale of its products. Considering that the purchase of just one t-shirt can provide food, medication, supplies, and medical care for five animals, the company is making great strides in the well being of society’s forgotten pets.

Founder M. Salinas shared her vision on the company website.

“I want to make a great impact for pet centers in America. Give them the funding they need to significantly reduce euthanasia and bring so much more awareness and education about adopting. With the funding raised from every Jusani purchase and the realization the brand is creating I hope to help America become a no-kill nation one day.”

Currently the clothing company is raising funds for Missaukee Humane Society in Michigan through March 31st. Missaukee is a nonprofit and is the county’s only animal shelter with enough housing for 45 dogs and 40 cats, however, these numbers are often exceeded.

Jusani Culture has helped numerous shelters in the past including Midwest Rescue, Cat Care Society, and Watermelon Mountain Ranch; from Illinois to Colorado to New Mexico, and next up is Worcester Animal Rescue League.

So, “Give a Buck, Save a Pup!” as Jusani says.
